Accredited Training for Real Estate

Course Overview

The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) has made it mandatory that all aspirant estate agents must be found competent in the Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent NQF4 SAQA ID 118714 in order to operate as Real Estate Agents.

This qualification is a pre-requisite for:

  • Admission to the professional exam for estate agents, conducted by the PPRA, entitling the candidate to be registered as a non-principal estate agent.
  • The Higher Occupational Certificate: Principal Real Estate Agent NQF level 5 in which will allow holders to run and manage their own agencies.

Who Qualifies for the course

  • Aspiring Real Estate Agents: People aiming to enter the real estate sector and obtain their real estate license in South Africa.
  • Current Real Estate Practitioners: Those already employed in the industry who are seeking formal certification to meet legal requirements and improve their professional skills and knowledge.

Entry Requirements

  • Grade 11 or NQF Level 3 (Competency in the English language and Mathematical Literacy. 

Duration

The program runs for 12 months subdivided into 6 months of learning for Knowledge and Practical Modules followed by 6 months of Workplace Modules at an agency. 

Classes are held at least once a week, with potential adjustments advised by the facilitator.

Cost

R11 500,00 paid in with the option of payment in 4 instalments.

Course Overview

This qualification builds on the knowledge acquired in the NQF 4 and is a pre-requisite to become a fully qualified Principle agent in the Property and Real Estate industry.

The course covers everything from business management and administration to marketing, human resources, ethics, legal, work supervision, data storage and finance, and gives you the choice of specialising in Property Management, Real Estate Practice or Valuation. It equips you with the skills to supervise or manage a team of agents, estate agency or property company.

The National Certificate in Real Estate NQF Level 5 allows those in formal education and those already employed in the Property and Real Estate industry to work towards a nationally recognised Qualification, which has now become mandatory.

Entry Requirements

  • Learners accessing this Qualification, will have demonstrated achievement of outcomes in Property and Real Estate Qualification – National Certificate in Property Practice at NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
    • Learners accessing this Qualification will have demonstrated achievement of outcomes in Language/communication and Mathematics/numeracy at NQF level 4 or equivalent.

    Accredited Training for Banking

    Course Overview

    The primary purpose of this qualification is to introduce learners to the field of banking. It explores general banking concepts, including the banking regulatory environment, sales and marketing strategies, financial management and investment products.

    It is fast becoming a pre-requisite in banks, insurance providers and medical aid insurers. It is a qualification certain to get you hired. It further has the purpose of providing benefits to society and the economy by enhancing citizenship, increasing social and economic productivity through skilled professionals, and redressing the legacies of inequity.

    This qualification is a ideal for:

    This qualification is suitable for persons wanting to work in the Financial Services Sector and those that are already employed in the sector. It can also be attained in the RPL format for those with experience but without the qualification.

    Who Qualifies for the course

    • Aspiring Real Estate Agents: People aiming to enter the real estate sector and obtain their real estate license in South Africa.
    • Current Real Estate Practitioners: Those already employed in the industry who are seeking formal certification to meet legal requirements and improve their professional skills and knowledge.

    Entry Requirements

    • Matric and /or Experience in the Banking industry.
    • A combination of competencies obtained in the Further Education and Training band will serve as a learning base to progress to the level 5 qualification.

    Duration

    The program runs for 12 months subdivided into 6 months of learning for Knowledge and Practical Modules followed by 6 months of Workplace Modules at an employer. 

    Classes are held at least once a week, with potential adjustments advised by the facilitator.

    Course Overview

    This qualification forms part of a learning pathway of management qualifications across various sectors and industries. It is specifically designed to develop management competencies required by learners in any occupation, particularly those who manage first line managers within the customer service department in the banking or Financial services sector.

    The qualification further develops the key concepts, principles and practices of management that will enable learners to lead, manage, organise and control first line managers and team leaders. The scope of generic management covers five domains: leadership, managing the environment, managing relations, managing knowledge and the practice of management.

    Accredited Training for Business

    Course Overview

    Successful businesses require administrators to communicate information effectively between customers, employees and managers. It is essential that administrators can confidently make decisions, organise resources and information, and direct activities towards common goals.

    This qualification provides the knowledge, skills and values needed for excellent administration.

    It involves the management of an organisation through a team of dedicated key players who all have one common goal – the successful growth of the organisation.

    The core component contains competencies in Information Handling, Communications, Enterprise/Customer Service, Technology, Organisation Skills, Self-development, Teamwork and Business Policies and Procedures. The elective component allows the learner to gain specialist knowledge, skills and insight in the areas of Reception, Executive Administration, Financial Services and Banking, Legal Administration and Human Resources.

    This qualification is ideal for:

    • Where previously disadvantaged, unable to complete their schooling and therefore unable to access Further Education training.
    • Have experience but no qualifications – such learners can achieve the qualification through the Recognition of Prior Learning method.
    • Wish to extend their range of skills and knowledge of administration within their respective industries so that they can extend their competency levels.

    This qualification develops knowledge and skills in the management of records, comprehension of written and verbal texts, business writing, problem solving, ethics, cultural awareness, self-management and self-development, project teamwork and business policies and procedures. 

    Through its elective component, the qualification enables the learner to specialize in areas of administration such as reception, executive administration, financial literacy, relationship management, legal knowledge, communication, project administration and support, call centre administration and human resources.

    This qualification is ideal for:
